As if we hadn't packed enough into one weekend, we also had family pictures taken on Easter. Riggs was a delight to work with (can't you tell from the photo below?) Jackson, on the other hand, was a total poser. He loves being in front of the camera.

Easter was so fun this year. Jackson and Riggs are both so into it all, so it makes it great. Bright and early Sunday morning (6 am), we heard Riggs out digging through the baskets that the Easter bunny brought. He probably ate a pound of candy before we even got out of bed. So after Jackson finally got up about 2 hours later, we let them find their eggs and dig into their candy and baskets.
After that we headed over to Uncle Steve and Aunt Christie's house for another egg hunt and breakfast. And let me tell you, this was a serious egg hunt. There were over 600 eggs hidden all over their huge yard, and the kids all had a such a good time. Dusty and Sally were there with their kiddos too, so we had fun with them. Crew slept through most of it, but I did get a cute picture of him with his first Easter basket.

Jackson turned 5 on the 23rd of March. Since it fell on Easter this year, we decided to celebrate on Friday. He had a party at Peter Piper Pizza with all of his friends and Hamblin cousins (he missed his Wright cousins). He got WAY too many presents, so I decided to let him pick a few to keep that day, and the rest of them are being used as bribery for good behavior and chores. Jeremy thinks I'm the meanest mom ever (and I am).
Anyway, Jackson had a VERY fun day. After his party, his Aunt Julie and cousin Dusti took him swimming and then we went to a movie that night with his cousin Paige and Aunt Lori. We were all exhausted by the time the day was over. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Jacks!

Thanks Jenny!

I've been wanting to start a blog for the last year or so just to keep in touch with so many friends and family who we don't get to see very often. And I'm terrible at keeping a journal or a scrapbook, so this is perfect for that too. BUT, I'm kind of an "all or nothing" kind of girl, and with my 3 little boys, new business, 2 moves this year, etc, I knew I certainly couldn't give it my "all". sweet sister-in-law, Jenny, went on and got me started. THANK YOU! Hopefully it won't take me another year to post something here. If it does, maybe Jenny will just make up some news about our family to make us look good. :)

Our third little boy, Crew, arrived February 11. He weighed 8 lbs 11 oz, was 22 inches long. He is a sweet little baby. His brothers love to hold him and help mom. He looks so much like Jackson did. I put him in Jackson's old clothes, and it's just like I have Jackson back as a baby!

Jackson & Riggs

Jacson and Riggs are so cute together! They are great little buddies. They play so cute all day long... well most of the time!
