Easters...

You have to be a Nacho Libre fan to get the "Easters" reference.

The best part about Easter this year was my first "great nephew" was born! That makes me sound REALLY old. Brooke and Amron had Benjamin Graham on Easter Sunday, and we got to go see him that night. He has TONS of hair, and everyone is in love with him.

My cousin, Holly's, little girls came to play the other day, and my boys had the best time with them, even though Riggs claims he doesn't like "grills". They played so good all day, and I kept checking on them, wondering how they could possibly entertain themselves for as long as they were, but that, my friends, is the difference between boys and "grills".

Nothing says "I'm sorry" like roses...

They were gorgeous for a whole week, so they kept Jeremy out of the dog house for at least that long...

Elder Holland's message

I always anticipate Elder Holland's and President Eyring's talks at General Conference. President Eyring is always so tender and personally connected to the messages he gives and the power of Elder Holland's testimony brings me to tears every time I hear him. I love that we live in a time of prophets and apostles and was especially touched by Elder Holland's message this past conference. In Sunday School yesterday, the teacher showed part of the talk set to music and images. Just thought I'd share.

Ashley's Wedding

My niece Ashley got married on Friday, and it was such a perfect day. The weather was gorgeous, and since they had the reception in their yard, everyone was crossing their fingers for a nice day.

Crew's First Hair Cut

I've been dreading getting it done because of what a wild man he is, but Crew was surprisingly good for his first hair cut. Riggs kept saying, "His hair looks like an old man" and cracking up while Crew was getting his hair cut. It was pretty funny.

Neighbor Friends

We moved out here almost a year and a half ago, and our kids have made such good friends. There are so many boys their ages right on our street, and they all just kind of go from one house to the next all day.
