Last Friday we took our first lake trip of the summer. My dad got a new boat a few months ago, and we had the best time. Jackson and Riggs can both swim great in a swimming pool, but they're not used to the huge, open water of a lake. I kept telling them to keep their life jackets on, but Jackson really wanted to swim without one when we were stopped. He started swimming over from the boat to some cliffs, and about half way there, he came up for a breath and had a look of complete panic on his face. I swam over and grabbed him, and he goes, "Mom, there's no sides to grab onto". I think he learned his lesson that it's a little different than pool swimming. Both Jackson and Riggs got thrown off the tube at one point or another that day--Grandad loves doing that!

Sign Here Catalog
Oh, happy day! After 13 months of very late nights on the computer, countless emails, phone calls, proofing, etc, all of our printing supplies are here: catalogs, brochures, invitations, etc. It was such a great feeling to see the finished product(s). We're finally ready to get our consultants going and start a new adventure with this whole business-CRAZY!

FATHER'S DAY & FAMILY REUNION
We had a great Father's Day at the Hamblin Reunion up in Nutrioso. We rented a house in Alpine with most of the fam and spent all day Saturday and Sunday morning at "Sherwood Forest" with lots of cousins, aunts and uncles. Jeremy was a good sport about going to my family reunion on Father's Day weekend. The kids had a BALL--they were filthy and tired and loved every minute of it.
I have to say, Jeremy is one heck of a dad. Our boys would rather be with him than anyone. They idolize him. He spends so much time with them and makes sure each one of them gets

Ever since we got the Wii for Christmas, our boys have been wanting to go bowling. They're both really good at it on the Wii, but the real thing is a different story. They were so cute in their little bowling shoes and shorts.

PRESCHOOL GRADUATION
Jackson is officially done with pre-school. He's going to be starting all-day kindergarten in the fall and I was really bummed when I found out that the school in our neighborhood only offers all-day kindergarten. I'm not quite ready for him to be gone a full day. But he's thrilled about it. His only concern was if his friends would be there all day too. He's all ready way too social.

ROCKY POINT
We had a great trip to Rocky Point last weekend. Our kids always say that it's their favorite place, even better than Disneyland. We went with my mom and dad, Leisel and Christian and Macey, Christian's sister and her family, Julie and Roger and their kids, and Troy and Leigh and their family. Kelsee's fiancee, Greg, also came, and it was fun to get to know him a little better. The kids all had a blast with him. He may become the new favorite uncle/cousin to all the little ones. The only bad part about the trip was that Troy broke his clavicle in a quad accident. He's doing okay and doesn't have to have surgery, but it'll be a couple of months before he's all recovered. He's a maniac!
My little twins...
We can't go to Rocky Point without riding the Banana Boat at least once, and I can usually talk the guys into a really good price...all from my experience negotiating with the Taxi drivers in Venezuela. Anyway, Jeremy is a little paranoid, so he always tells the guys to go super slow. This time all the kids were yelling for him to go faster, and Jeremy kept telling the guy in Spanish that the kids were scared and he needed to slow down. Treyson wanted to spice things up a little, so he kept saying, "Aunt Jill, let's jump off". So we did. I forgot to take my sunglasses off before I jumped, so I lost them, and my kids were so worried. They probabaly asked me 15 times why I jumped off and where my glasses were. Funny.Crew's first trip...

Riggs' Birthday
Our little Riggles turned 3 on May 7th. He has the same birthday as his cousin Paige, so they usually celebrate together. She turned 7 this year. We had a little party at Lori's house with Grandma and Grandad. Riggs also decided that since he's 3 he would start using the potty. No more diapers! Woo-hoo. It's always nice when you only have one kid in diapers at a time.
I love him in his undies...
